Listen close to me -

Anything can happen, child,

Anything can be.

Shel Silverstein, “Listen to the Mustn’ts”

Listen to the Mustn’ts

Listen to Mustn’ts, child, listen to the Don’ts.
Listen to the Shouldn’ts, the Impossibles, the Won’ts.
Listen to the Never Haves, then listen close to me.
Anything can happen, child, Anything can be.

Hey Mrs. White! This is my first time commenting. I like the poem u posted. It’s very powerful.I’m also glad that it’s FRIDAY!!!!Yes, the magical day where kids and adults don’t have to get up early. Tomorrow we’re going to celebrate my cousin’s,my aunt’s, & my other cousins birthday. Also,we’re having home party for my aunt Nicole who’s been in the hospital with cancer. She’s better now (except that she’s still pretty groggy sometimes).I like Free Rice.com. It’s so fun and helpful too.GTG!!: )

Hey Mrs. White! You are so cool. I love Mrs. Fowler’s blog. I used to have her in the fourth grade. :) She is so much fun. I liked that poem that you posted. I have a blog too. It is mooch258.wordpress.com. I don’t have many resent posts on my blog though. Sometimes I like to go to school, but other times, I just want to stay home. Sometimes I waish that I waas my dog. They just stay home and don’t have to do anything except lay around the house. I have 3 dogs. Their names are Ivy ( The border collie), Molly ( The Jack russel terrier), and Gaby (The Australian Shepard.) I have to go now, Kayla McGill is at my house. Did you know that awe are long distant cousins? We didn’t even know that when we met in the third grade. It is so cool. We are best friends too. That is kind of weird how we are cousins and best friends. This is a very long comment. Well, this time I really gota go. Haa Haa!!!! Bye!!!!!

Hey Mrs.White, I like Shel Silverstein too!!! He has really powerful and emotional words!!!!!!!! It’s telling you there’s no do’s, dont’s, musnt’s in life, well there is LOL, but he’s telling you not to make them and to always beleive in your heart, and you choose to either follow them or leave them!!! I’m not sure if that’s right but that’s what it means to me!!!
