I thought of it when I realized how long it had been since I posted anything on my blog…but there is a reason. The school district has wordpress blocked on our teacher computers at school so I cannot check my blog unless I am at home. Maybe we should start some kind of petition…
So I am glad to hear form all you log lost jr high-ers…I would love to have you guys back any day but I am finally getting used to all my new little critters. I have learned all their names already of course…that is my day one goal of every school year.
Two things I want you to be pondering about…for those of you who are blogging with me.
1. How about those hurricanes? Remember when we studied those when we read The Cay? We are getting ready to dive into that now with my new 6th graders. It is really cool to take advantage of all the learning opportunities during these next few weeks when we have the “real thing” to look at. Keep an eye on them by watching the weather channel…you can really learn a lot. www.weather.com
2. Next time you are riding down the road, see if you can figure out how all the new license plates are alike…and no I don’t mean the same colors and the picture…they all have something in common…Mrs. Fowler are you still trying to figure this one out?
